The Library History Buff
Promoting the appreciation, enjoyment, and preservation of library history
Library Buttons
Pin back buttons have been used by libraries, library organizations, and library vendors for many years to promote a variety of library related events, programs, services and products. Library associations have used buttons to promote their conferences and their units. If you're a librarian, you probably have at least a small button collection. This is perhaps the most common library collectible. I have hundreds that I have picked up at library conferences and elsewhere over the years. I have also been the beneficiary of many donations to my collection.

Joel Robinson, Executive Director of the Marmot Library Network in Grand Junction, Colorado, provided me with this image of his collection of library buttons. The buttons are now part of my collection. Thanks Joel.
